What happens with your complaint
Every complaint within Trading Standards’ product safety remit goes through a triage risk assessment process. This helps us prioritise and assign resource to the issues that pose the greatest risk.
Please note that if we don’t have responsibility for the product or issue we try to refer your complaint to the correct agency. We will let you know when this happens and will try to provide you with details so, if you want, you can follow up with the agency.
